How can the Welfare Rights Team help me?

They can:

  • offer advice and help by telephone, email, home visit or in the Castle Morpeth Housing offices
  • help to increase your weekly income by checking to see if you are claiming all the benefits and tax credits you are entitled to
  • help you to complete claim forms including renewal forms
  • help you to appeal against benefit decisions
  • give you advice about how to manage any debts you may have
  • We can also give you information about other organisations that can help if you prefer

There are many benefits you may be able to claim, such as Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit, Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Tax Credits and Carer's Allowance.
