Governance 
Castle Morpeth Housing is supported in the delivery of its operational plan by a Board whose primary role is to ensure that it achieves its long term business strategy in a way that is consistent with its vision and values.
The members bring to the role a wide range of skills, expertise and knowledge which supports the diverse nature of the sector in which we operate.
The Board of Castle Morpeth Housing is made up of twelve members:
- four are nominated by Northumberland County Council (nomination process underway at present);
- four are independent members who have an interest in our business and relevant expertise to offer;
- four are tenants who offer their expertise as consumers of the service provided by Castle Morpeth Housing. This gives residents an equal say in the decisions made by the Board and an important contribution to make.
