Jean Orr
After a long career in both general and psychiatric nursing, Jean has been more involved in voluntary work. This includes setting up Hadston Tenants Association in the early 1990's which has now developed into a successful Tenants Forum.
Jean was actively involved in the housing stock transfer process from Castle Morpeth Borough Council and was a founder Board Member. Within the community, she has experience of establishing, managing and sourcing funding for a children's play scheme in Hadson.
Jean has also been a Board Member for ENRgI since 2002, the East Northumberland Regeneration Initiative.
