Updates - Isos Property Services takes on all responsive repairs

Isos Property Services (IPS) is now delivering gas servicing, repairs and maintenance, voids work and planned refurbishment to all 12,000 Castle Morpeth*, Milecastle and NomadE5 homes.

Many Milecastle residents will already be familiar with the staff as IPS has evolved from the former Milecastle Building Services Division. The distinctive blue uniforms remain the same but will now bear the new IPS logo.

Over the coming months we ask that you familiarise yourself with the team and the IPS branded vans. However, even if you're expecting a visit, always check the identity of anybody asking for access to your home.

We've expanded and developed the service to work across the group so that residents can rely on an award-winning, consistent, professional and high-quality service. The move also enables us to make some savings, develop people's skills and create jobs and apprenticeships for the local communities we serve.

We will be seeking feedback from residents to ensure we can continue to develop and improve the service the team provides.

Based in Hexham, with depots in Newcastle/Gateshead and Morpeth, IPS will employ around 80 people to manage and undertake all work for the Isos Group.

Norman Liddle is the Contracts Manager at IPS and has helped lead the team through its transformation. He said: "We really believe that the change and expansion will benefit all residents. We want to deliver consistently excellent services and are looking forward to getting to know the residents who have yet to meet the team."

*For Castle Morpeth tenants IPS will carry out gas servicing, responsive repairs, void works and property works. Planned maintenance will still be carried out by a separate contractor.
